February, 2008 Snow, Snow, Go AwayWow I cant believe it's been so long since I've wrote in this blog! I guess Myspace has kept me away...lol Well for all of you who dont know, I live in Chicago and we just got some more snow! UGH! this is starting to really get crazy! we havent had this much snow in so long...and we are supposed to get more on Thursday... OK enough is enough...I was thinking...more like wishing....lol that we will get an EARLY spring since we have been dumped on so wrongly this year...Does anyone have any clout up there with Mother Nature??? I cant stand it any longer...please STOP the INSANITY....lol... I am so in the mood for some warm weather that when our heat kicks on...(and it does so frequently) I run to the nearest heater vent and just take a nice deep breath and close my eyes thinking of those nice summer days of yesteryear...I've even started dong some spring cleaning EARLY in hopes that it might trigger some warm weather to blow this way....Hey I'm DESPARATE! atleast when Spring finally doea make its way over this way I wont be tied down with the lovely "Spring Cleaning" chores that so many find themselves doing once the warm air hits... S L O W L Y....opened up a bit and started talking to me about stuff and most of it I feel is more or less exagerations...but that is just my feelings...the things she has told me has really sent me for a LOOP!! she has told me that she has lost her virginity the day before she came here and OMG! I almost threw UP thinking about the possibility of her being pregnant....OMG even typing it is making me wanna get sick...imagining such a young person having a baby is a sad and terrible thing...and it made me cry to know that her father is so lackadaisical with her..she told me that she has skating from 7pm to 7am I DONT BELIEVE THAT FOR ONE FUCKING MINUTE!!! and I will be checking with her father to see what she tells him too! he is gonna be getting a wake up call after this summer! you better believe it!! to be continued...... "J's" boyfriend called me 3 weeks ago and told me that there was some information that I wasnt informed of and that I should be concerned she was very sick and possibly dying she was not telling anyone about her sickness so as not to give people a chance to pity her. this information has really made me sick inside and I didnt know what to do because she has about 1 year to 16 months to live and I am not supposed to know... how am I supposed to live with that kind of information and not tell her I know about it and offer my help...this has been a huge burden in my life for the past 3 weeks.
the past few weeks we have been keeping in touch with each other to inform each other of any new occurances with her or her child "L" 3 weeks ago she informed me that she was pregnant with her new boyfriends baby and that she was intending on raising the child on her own. she told me that her boyfriend reacted happily at first and then changed his mind and wanted her to abort the baby so that he could be free. well since then I have talked to him and he has informed me that he was happy until he found out that she is terminally ill and having the baby could kill her or even deliver a still born so he asked her to abort for the sake of her life.
March, 2006 Whatcha been doin??Oh my heck! Dont laugh! I can't believe I haven't updated my Blog since December!! well there has been alot going on here in our house we have been a busy bunch! lol
In February Nathan turned 1 and we had alot of fun at Chucky Cheese it was Nathans first time! Bobby played in the tubes the whole time I think we seen him like twice that whole time we were there...lol We won like 110 tickets for him...lol
Dino and Bobby have been working diligently on the Pine Derby race car that he had to race this weekend. I am really glad that Dino was so involved I think that it was a great experience for the both of them! Bobby didnt win but he showed good sportsmanship by going and shaking the winners hands! it was a very touching moment as a mother, to see his broken little heart go and offer his hand to the winners to congratulate them!
Dino and I were so heartbroken for him that Dino ended up polishing up one of his old trophy's for good sportsmanship and gave it to him...the way his little eyes lit up was priceless!
December, 2005 ChristmasIt was a special Christmas this year It was Nathans first Christmas. I love to watch the kids eyes light up when they open a gift! Bobby was SOO excited when he opened up the ambulance that he has been asking for, for such a long time! and when he opened the doctor play kit from his aunt Elf he was sooo excited he REALLY likes to pretend to be a doctor and help people...(so cute) Then Nathan opened his car/walker it started talking and flashing and he lite up like a star! That is what Christmas is about...That look the kids get when they open that special gift! there is nothing like it! Dino bought me a A Food Processor and a Leather coat with faux fur inside its so nice I cant wait to wear it! and oh my gosh I am dying to use my food processor! LOL  I bought Dino a CD boombox and some basketball clothes he wanted it was a nice christmas, it was the first christmas in years since I wasnt so sad that I missed my Mom its now been 3 years since her passing and I am finally just starting to feel better about it... I still miss her like crazy and yes I still cry about her but I felt different this year... its hard to explain it...This Christmas we opened gifts on Christmas Eve because we had church on Christmas Day,so on our way out to Uncle Dans on the Eve I told Dino to take Bobby out to the car and I will bring all the gifts out and put them under the tree especially since Dino hurt his back playing basketball Saturday morning and he was walking around like a cripled person I didnt think he would even be able to carry the giftsthat he wrapped upstairs down...so I brang all those gifts up from the basement and brought his gifts down from the closet and MAN I was sweating when I was done! LOL I told bobby that I think Santa will come early this year since he knows we have to go to church... Maybe he will come while we are not here...lol man the stories we come up with...so when we got home all the gifts were under the tree and Bobby looked in the back door and seen all the gifts under the tree and he was like MOM I THINK SANTA CAME WHILE WE WERE GONE!!! I wanted to just hugg him...lol I was like OH MY GOSH I THINK YOUR RIGHT!!! lol it was really precious! The only thing that went wrong...I had ordered some of the gifts I wanted to get Bobby online and they didnt come in time for Christmas, oh well... We just got them today...so now he has them... Anyway it was all good!November, 2005 Elf goes homeWell she went home today her and lil Erin packed up their stuff yesterday and headed out the door only to drive back 2 hours later...lol she got lost on her way back home and just turned back around to come back to my house...She just wanted to stay one more nite! and I'm not buying the whole I got lost story...LOL she really just came back for the ravioli....LOL I dont care what her reason or story was for coming back I was happy to put her southern ass up for one more night. tee hee! but this morning it was time to let my Elf go back to her hubby and to all those hillbillies that live in Atlanta.... who get to see her little Elf face... I think it will take hell or high water to get her to come back though... she doesnt like driving in the city...LOL and she cant seem to find her way out very well either...and dont even mention the Bus incident to her....LMAO....Well maybe I will come visit next....once I can get lil Nathan to want to sit in his car seat for more than a half hour than maybe my Northen ass will venture out to the boonies....lol I spent the day cleaning up and putting my house back into order and doing laundry I still have a mountain of laundry to do...it will have to wait till the morning...I cant wait to head to bed in a few the baby is back in his room YAY! I can only dream of the sleep I will be getting tonight....hmmmmm I think I will hop on upstairs right now and let the sleeping start....Night all! XOXO November, 2005 Elf has come to Visit!! The Ski Slopes!!!She is HERE! I have been enjoying my aunt since she has been here with my little cousin and today we had soo much fun driving around trying to get the things we need for Turkey Day LMAO! This Ski bunee will not be getting back into the truck with her southern ass! those southerners DONT know how to drive in the city! LMAO!!! OH and today LOOK at my TIFF! she is such the Gap wanna be!
